OUR CORE VALUES

N3.I.U continues to redefine what it means to be a leading Christian university. Our leadership is founded on covenant values that we call our Core Values.

1. Spirituality

This refers to instilling the fear of God in the lives of the men and women in the N3. International University (N3.I.U). The fear of God is a fundamental requirement for effective leadership.
Most of the greatest leaders of all time in Bible history were men who lived by the fear of God. Joseph said “but I fear God”, Job the greatest business leader of his time was reported to be “a man who fears God and turns away from evil”. We believe that the fear of God is fundamental to a successful career in leadership. The fear of God remains the non-negotiable factor in the pursuit of our mandate. Exod. 18: 21-24.

2. Integrity

Lack of accountability in leadership is a big problemn. We need to rediscover the virtue of integrity in our society today. Leadership by example is therefore the greatest need of our time. Until you can boldly say “follow me”, you don't qualify to lead. It takes hard work, not flesh and blood, not strength and vigor, but heart and conscience.

3. Responsibility
We are committed to instilling a sense of responsibility in our students.  We believe in the place of discipline for effective leadership. Here at N3.I.University, our students are not allowed to do what they want, but they are obliged to do what is right at all times.

4. Diligence
There's no success without hard work. You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Every leader is a worker, and every committed worker is a potential leader. We believe that commitment is the greatest qualifier for achievement.
We believe that no one can commit to driving without taking the lead. This is why hard work is one of our celebrated core values. We want all our students to be hard workers, tireless workers and creative workers. You see a man who is diligent in his business, he will stand before kings, he must not stand before average men (Prov. 22:29). Where you find yourself tomorrow will depend on your diligence today. Nothing works like hard work.

5. Sacrifice
Every great leader of all time has a story rooted in sacrifice. Sacrifice is the ultimate price for exceptional leadership. It is quality sacrifice that defines great leadership. No one can get more out of life than they are willing to put in. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price at the cross, gave his life as a ransom.
Our students are trained to raise the altar of sacrifice in pursuit of their dreams and vision. You can't make an impact in the world without paying a global price. Sacrifice is what makes stars. Every star bears a scar of sacrifice (Luke 12: 49-50).
